Lale Westvind to Exhibit at PIX 2016

Lale Westvind (Hot Dog Beach, Now and Here, Hyperspeed to Nowhere, Hax) - Lale Westvind is a cartoonist and animator whose work focuses on the kinetic, wild and sublime through vibrancy of motion, color and figuration. Her series Hot Dog Beach won an Ignatz Award in 2012 and Hyperspeed to Nowhere was nominated for an Ignatz in 2013. Her animated video for Lightning Bolt's The Metal East won Best Music Video at Leeds International Film Festival in 2015. She is currently working on a short animated series called Morpha!
